I joined your class with very little knowledge about pregnancy. I took it upon myself to follow all you teach us. I hardly comment in the group though. From nutrition all the way to birth preparedness. In Fact every bit of my journey with you was a blessing and something I’m grateful for. You encouraged us to remain positive and never leave our pregnancy to chance. I had a smooth pregnancy journey but in the end I ended up in the theater. Initially I intended to change my health facility but upon critical thought, and what you said in the class about choosing a place where they can handle emergencies in the case of any eventuality, I resorted to maintaining my hospital and that saved my life and that of my baby. If I had to be transferred to a different hospital as a result of my emergency ,my story wouldn’t have ended joyfully and I thank God for that. I had so much knowledge that at a point, my Gynae asked if I’m a nurse. When labour wasn’t progressing any longer and I was told there has to be an emergency Cs, quickly I agreed because you took out all that fear and thought I had about Cs. My baby was quickly attended to because she was going through distress. .It didn’t make me less of a woman. What was important is that I and my baby girl are fine.
