Have you been in that situation when your doctor or midwife tells you the baby is in distress and needs immediate interventions to save its life?
This is what it means. Your baby is not receiving enough oxygen from the placenta and so baby begins to struggle for life
Several factors and conditions can lead to fetal distress. Placenta abruptio, infections, preeclampsia, diabetes and many more
These are the signs that shows that your baby may be in distress
🔴Meconium stained liquor. Water around the baby looks greenish. Baby starts to pass stool in utero and even inhales it. Leading to respiratory distress
🔴Baby’s movement will be slow or excessive. Be familiar with your baby’s movement
🔴You may be bleeding
🔴Sometimes you start to experience unusual cramps
🔴When your baby’s heart rate is checked it will be above 160bpm or below 120 bpm.
If you experience any of these early interventions are needed to save your baby.
